Fatal Claw Walkthrough: The 1.0 Route Through Every Region
What this route is, and what it is not
There is no official walkthrough for Fatal Claw, and two days after 1.0 nobody has published a verified step-by-step for the full game. What does exist is an ordered skeleton the game itself provides: Steam lists its 51 achievements in unlock order, seven of them are “Reach <region>” milestones, and NDEV GAMES published five Region Teaser posts describing the new 1.0 areas.
So this page gives you the route order and the gates — which region comes next, what unlocks it, which boss stands in the way — without inventing room-by-room directions that nobody has verified. Where a step is a player report rather than an official source, it says so.

The full source for each region name is on the region index, and every boss in the table is listed with its confirming source on the boss page.
Stage 1-2: the Origin Laboratory
Kisha wakes inside the Origin Laboratory’s life support system with no memory of the past. Region Teaser #2 explains what the building is: the Commoners found the Stone of Records holding the sleeping Ancients, and built this facility to study Elord Kingdom technology and the energy source called Kannir. Upper Origin Laboratory is 1.0 content — the teaser frames reaching it as returning “to the very place where it all began”.
Two systems open here and both matter for the whole run:
- Kannium upgrades the Claw (achievement: Claw Sharpening).
- Cabitz adds or customises abilities (achievement: Fine-Tuned!).
If you took a chest in the Origin Lab during the pre-release branch and an Adrian’s Marble piece did not register, that was a real bug — the 2026-08-20 hotfix converted one missing piece into one slot. Anyone starting on 1.0 is past it.
Stage 3-6: out of the ruins, into Elord Castle
Saitin is the first named kill on the achievement list, which is why it reads as the opening boss. Mirkam comes with a world-state change attached: defeating it restores power to the village.
Between them and the castle, the two “reach” achievements — Strigine Quarry (Gale Warning) and the Black Canyon (Into the Darkness) — mark the exploration stretch. Elord Castle is the seat of the fallen kingdom, and it has its own record: the achievement Remember Us is earned by viewing the records of the kingdom’s final day.
One known progression trap lives here. Patch v0.9.269 fixed a state where using a Stone Warp out of Upper Elord Castle without activating a lever could block progression. It is fixed, but it tells you what the area is built around: a lever that has to be pulled before you leave.
Stage 7-8: the Higasha Tundra and the Wolf Gate
The tundra is a frozen region, and the Wolf Gate hidden deep inside it opens into the Tenshukaku Interior — Sorron’s stronghold, per Region Teaser #3. The teaser also introduces the fight that guards it: Enma, the Golden Spirit Wolf, a Sorr warrior using “terrifying sorcery capable of distorting the boundary between reality and illusion”. That is the only mechanical hint NDEV GAMES has published about any boss, and it is worth taking literally.
The 2026-08-20 hotfix also fixed a spot in the Higasha Tundra where players could get stuck. If you are playing 1.0 you have the fix.
Stage 9-11: dungeons, energy and the three seals
Jayma’s Dungeon (Prison of the Forbidden) and the Kannir Belt (Sea of Energy) carry the late mid-game. The Kannir Belt is named for the same energy the Commoners were researching back in the Origin Laboratory — the game closes that loop deliberately.
Three sanctuaries each hold a seal, and each has its own achievement:
- Stone Sanctuary — First Key of Hope
- Kannir Sanctuary — Second Key of Hope
- Water Sanctuary — Third Key of Hope
The third one has a hard prerequisite. The achievement Water Cat reads: “Acquire the mutation ability Meditation of Jibanam to overcome your fear of water.” Until you have it, water is a wall.
Stage 12-13: the Aphotic Marsh and the Sealed Spire
Region Teaser #4 describes the Aphotic Marsh as the deepest point of the underworld, where the black sludge that absorbs life force collects, and where traces of the Sorr were found. Someone has been waiting there for a long time — the teaser says they entrust Kisha with “the world’s last hope” and hand over the last of their power, along with the Silver Chain you use to cut through the corruption.
The Sealed Spire is the last gate. Teaser #5 puts a decision at it, quoting Dotiman’s warning: “Do not recklessly open the Spire’s gates and venture to the surface.” Ten thousand years earlier King Odz made the decision that sealed the surface off; now it is Kisha’s, as heir to both the Golden Claw and the Silver Claw.
What happens after that is covered — carefully, with the studio’s own wording — on the ending system page.
Where players are actually getting stuck
Steam’s discussion board is the honest record of launch-week friction. As of 2026-08-28 the recurring threads are:
- Traversing the Grand Square (posted 2026-08-27)
- The Blue Clockhand Stone (2026-08-27, marked spoiler)
- Rooms with skill icons on the wall (2026-08-27)
- The Black Mire fight against Kurtz (2026-08-22)
- Confusion immediately after beating the game (two separate threads on 2026-08-27)
None of these have an official answer yet, and this site will not invent one. They are listed here because knowing where other people are stuck is genuinely useful, and because when the studio or a verifiable source answers them, these are the entries that will get filled in.
Before you start: two settings notes
Steam lists Adjustable Difficulty and Save Anytime as features, and reviewers confirm both menus exist. The gap is keyboard and mouse remapping — see the controls page if you play on mouse.
Thanks for the feedback!
